Pic of mandel I made for popping dngs out of the rolled edge. My edges were so rusted the would stay in shape, so I ct them off and welded on chain link fence top rail. Pics 44-48 in the link.
Using the piece of 2 1/2 square tubing in the pic as a strong back clamped with 3/4" wooden blocks 1/4 of the way in from the ends to put a preload on so the weld wouldn't warp the rail. Came out within 1/16" in the 8'. Purrfect.
