Not sure if you were asking me or Dave, but hey, I'll play along!
We have repaired all the damage to the frame, and repainted 90% of the chassis and running gear except for the third members and transfer case. 4 0f the 6 tires have been replaced with good used Power King 9.00s, and two more are coming. While changing the tires I noticed that 2 of the split rims were cracked and rewelded, so I'm on the hunt for 2 new ones.
We pulled all the brake drums, and the brake shoes are at 40-50%, so I'm going to reline all of them. The drums appear to be in good condition.
I completely tore down the front axle yesterday. It looks like the right outer axle broke at some point, and did quite a number to the inside of the spindle, so I'll be getting a new one. The differential looks in good condition, other than some minor rust pitting on one tooth, but it looks like it happened a long time ago, since most of the damage has been worn away. Hub bearings are good, but the knuckle bearings are worn. There was a ton of grit (stream crossing?) in the bottom of each knuckle bearing, but nothing in the CV joint or ball.
I'll post some pictures soon. Greg
