Wanted to give you a point of comparison. I bought a 1950 B-2 for my grandson last year (posted about it on the forum). It had been sitting in a field in remote Alaska for about 15 years. The body and frame are straight with surface rust, all the parts are there (including the winch in the bed, which is mostly rotted out, but that is to be expected when you get 8' of snow annually).
The interior is rough and all the glass is there. Has the fenders and running boards and they only need a small bit of work. Of course, this is a project and I hope to at least see if we can get it to start this summer. But, it's a long term investment so I can work on it with my son and grandson who is two.
I paid $1,000 for it and trailered it four hours home. I thought it was a good deal. Not seeing the body of the one you are looking at makes it sorta hard to compare, but from the photos you've posted, I think mine is close to the condition this one is.
Understand this is a newbies opinion and I only know about 10% of what the other guys know on this site so consider the source for this opinion. I feel good that I made a good buy and others I know who do restorations agree.
One thing to remember, go into this feeling good if you buy it. Buyer's remorse can be tough.
