The 435 you have will work. You just need the 61-68 bellhousing is all. Another option is use a 69-93 bell and use a later style slave cylinder off an early 90s truck. They're easy to get, and you can use any starter with that combo too. There are a few ways to go. Give me a call, 412-400-7281...
