True. They're the only animal with four wheel drive AND a front winch. I expect an elephant has better traction and low-end torque than a PW, though. I wonder if anyone has ever challenged one to a "tractor pull".

I'm reading a book about a woman flier in Africa in the early 1930s who was the first to work for hunting safaris scouting elephants from the air. It's a pretty gripping story, if you like airplanes and elephants.
