acme and borg warner are the same thng. acme is the canadian version. dont know why the name is different. maybe they just built them under license from borg warner or it was part of borg warner. dont know. some say the borg warner is better but I have not had any issue with the NP trannies. I have seen as many broken/wornout borg warners as I have NPs.
