Thats cool! I wanted to use my M101, but its not big enough for what we do with Smokey.
Since I hope to have mine done by Christmas, I have asked if we can find an old cotton trailer somewhere and make a float out of it for the Dept. Every year CAL FIRE has a float in the Visalia Christmas Parade and Porterville Chistmas Parade. But we usually unload a bulldozer and use the transport for the float. The HFEO's
, (HEavy Fire Equipment Operators), dozer drivers, dirt pushers, are getting tired of having to have their dozer unloaded and the trailer to Headquarters by 5am the day of the parade so it can be transformed into a float. I suggested if we can get a cotton module trailer we can leave it at HQ and I can pull it with my restored CDF Power Wagon.
Surprisingly it went over very well, our Prevention Dept is actively seeking a cotton module trailer. So the pressure is on, I gotta get my truck done by Christmas
