I have a Sears Digitork torque wrench that I have had for many years. It is a half inch model and has always worked well.
Something happened yesterday where a small piece of metal within its inner construction slipped, covering over the window that shows the torque settings.
I wonder if it would be worth sending it in to someone to repair? If I could figure out how to get the handle "open" I think I could fix it as it is a cosmetic problem.
It is not really "broken"in any other way, but I can't see how the handle is fastened together.
Any suggestions?
