What year truck?
I understood it to be a 6V truck converted to 12?
Know way there should be two hot wires on the horn.
Again,one hot+ One - connected to the button for ground.
No grounds to the firewall.
A 6v horn will work on 12v for short burst's
Now, newer horns will use power to sound them through a relay activated by the grounding horn button.
Has someone tried to change your truck to this type system?
Even the 68 WM300 12V, still used the old
Two wire +- button system.
