I hae always punished my 230s alot a my shoe is flll of lead. I run them 50 to 55 on the hiway with 5.83 gears. on a fresh engine anyway. they were designed for it. pull the head ever 20 or 30 k and clean he carbon off of everything and they will last and last with good maintenance. the block is very hard material, the crank is forged steel, the timing chain and gears are indestructible
