No good contractor worth his salt has all his digits :) Even though your fingers remain...we'll give you a pass on your membership :)
Seriously...wood tools are some of the most dangerous & although a chop saw seems like a simple tool...mine took my thumb several years ago & it happened in the blink of an eye.
While I was in the hand clinic I saw some of the most gruesome injuries I've ever seen & almost all from woodwork machinery.
Planers, shapers & routers are probably the worst but saws the most common.
