The hardest part of having new parts cast, from my experience, is getting the foundry to accept the notion that I don't want them to touch the parts AT ALL after they come out of the mold. I want to remove my own flash. I have had them about ruin otherwise ferfectly good parts by taking a grinder and removing the flash, all the while thinking they were doing me a favor.
