Thanks guys. I'll be tackling the cowl lights on Saturday and see which way I want to go.

Jerry: I attached the sonic mat to the rubber flooring material. Probably not the best idea, but the last owner put diamond plate down for the floors and I may likely work on some places in the future where the fit isn't quite up to my standards. Not that I don't like diamond plate for some uses...I might just eventually pull it, but for now it is serving its purpose.

It's OK for now, but I didn't want to attach the sonic mat to the plate thinking I would play heck getting it up. I'm going to see if some engine heat helps and then see what I need to do. It might be a matter of using some double-sided carpet tape between the two of them.
