is the front axle is just shy of spline thickness where as the rear axles is way thinner than the spline thickness
just by guess a feel i would say that the front is a full eighth of an inch thicker than the rear
the front reppa axle just looks stronger
wonder if the 3|4 ton front axle is that beefy
