I'm running a 71' 318 w/eddy 4bbl setup that I rebuilt on the cheap. The tranny is a NP435, W/muncie PTO for the winch. Most of the time I run an old worn out set of 9.00x16 Power Kings. When I first put it in I tracked the mileage was right around 13 at best. last I checked mileage was the same with my 38" boggers on there. I looked at the 4BT also, but I couldn't justify the expense of that swap in my wheeler (play/extra truck) After wheelin with a few diesels I'm glad I didn't go that route. I think diesels are great engines, but they don't work very well offroad.IMHO
