Jerry, I needed about 100 feet of the antegrey to top my bed off. But you're right, the oak would've cost around $4.10/ft. and that was way back in 2004. With all the construction goin' on here, and clearing goin' on, I wish I had a good saw mill to harvest all the white and red oak that's just being dozed over, burned and buried. Crazy, but true. A durable mill costs around $85,000. Bristlecone pine's sorta tough, but scarse.(did I misspell that)
