Seems to me that once the trucking industry was allowed to add a fuel surcharge to their bills for deliveries they stopped striking until the prices went back down. It went from cutting into their proffits to just passing the bill on. I remember you use to hear about the trucking industry making this country come to a stand still until the prices came back to a reasonable dollar amount.
