I am working on my 66 chevy with a dana 44 front end. Is it suppose to have 90 wt. gear lube in the front knuckles and not grease. Can the tapered hole that the tie rod end goes into be reamed out. I need to go to the next size bigger. This has turned into me fixing someone elses mess. Does anyone know if the arm tha came off the top of the knuckle on the dodges was straight or did it arc back towards the firewall. I just want to get back to work on my 50 FF.
