Shouldn't be a big deal to convert to 8 lug. Just need to find 8 lug hubs. I an not certain but I think Dana 60, 70 and GM 14 bolt hubs are interchangeable. 14 bolt hubs have the flange further out. I am planning (may not work) to use 14 bolt hubs on a dana70 to widen the axle to match a dually front width. I am sure there are axle differences because a Dodge Dana 70 has cone washers that are hard to remove 60 do not.
Ford uses driver side drop for front axles. So may want Chevy or Dodge front if using older t case.
