Got the brake pushrod adjusted properly, thanks to all who offered recommendations. Even had a "panic stop" on Saturday and drove the '66 WM300 about 30 miles without any issues. Now I am looking for either a serviceable leather cover for the shifter area or one that could be used as a pattern. The truck does have a winch lever but not sure if that matters.
