Your question has been stored on the server, as is my reply. This has consumed a given amount of storage space. Depending on the host's set up, a server can only store so much data until the web host must buy more server elements. That is why Joe has to start a new Forum from time to time. Joe and the rest of us with web sites pay for server space.
Storage has its price. Entering the same question 100 times uses 100 times as much storage space.
Accessing existing information already stored in the server does not require more storage. Nor is there any cost for us to look at information on the internet. We pay a set monthly fee for internet access and that cost is the same whether we go on line or not.
