My plan is to drill and die grind the slots in the door where the front window track bolts in. Then make some shims- top is .090, bottom is .280. Countersink the holes in the shims, and use flat head screws. On assembly, tightening the screws will suck the dimple into the panel, letting the flat head screws pull down flush, and allowing for the inner panel to seat flat.
I have the hardware, vent frame, handle, proper window regulator.
Remind me to check for 'cleats' inside the upper part, for screwing the vent frame to.
Sound like a plan? Anybody else gone through this?
