If he's on the PA turnpike he's in the hills, or at least what passes for them on the East Coast.
But I will agree, the PW brakes may be better but the drums on the Desoto are notorious for overheating and getting soft.
I converted the front to disks a few years ago, made the trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway much less scary. And it's a bolt-on conversion so I can easily swap back if I ever decide to for originality.
