Hi Chris,
Have to backup Clueless on this. Dodge had the long block 218 in their light duty trucks through 1938. Begining in 1939 they switched to the short block Plymouth 201 and the Short block Dodge 217. The Canadians always used the long block version of the Chrysler L6 no matter what the Cubic Inches were on those engines whether in cars or trucks.
