I'm in the process of installing a rebuilt NP420 in my '56 Wagon, and while the trans is our I am checking out the clutch/throwout bearing and fixing some of the slop.
I was hoping I could removed the clutch release fork (the rod that goes thru the bell housing and pushes on the throw out bearing).
It looks like if I am really motivated to do that I need to remove the bell housing. Am I missing something please? My finger is pointing to the thing I am trying to remove.
It looks like the clutch has been replaced at one time, at a minium I'll put a new throw out bearing it.
Thanks
Wayne
