I'd ask you where they were and take them but I know you're not in North Idaho. Before I got my M35s an old guy in the neighborhood gave me a bunch of unused 9.00-20 recap because he saw I had an "army truck". I didn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth so I took them, and then when I got the M35s I tried to use them but it turned out the new tread was good but the old casings were so rotted and weather-checked that I couldn't use them. Maybe that was the case with these too. I learned that weather-checked tires look pretty good until you air them up.
