I had a 318, NP-435 and 4.89 differentials in my Power Wagon. The power wagon has a gooseneck hitch mounted in the bed. I easily pulled my gooseneck flatbed down the mountain and back with no problems whatsoever. I tried it again with the B3.9 engine installed, even better pulling that heavy trailer up the mountain.

Go for it you will not hat a problem.
