I just dove into a pair of starters partially inspired by your project, Dave, the idea was to frankenstein two old six volts together to resurrect my broken housing and ring gear, but unfortunately the two were just slightly different enough I will have to continue the search. anyone have a nose-cone and ring gear off of a 6-volt autolite#MCH-6101 by chance?
