The spare does not normally reside in this truck unless it is to be driven on long trips. It mounts just like those do on a Power-Wagon with a pickup box - except it mounts inside the box instead of outside - except it mounts on the driver side instead of the passenger side - except it mounts facing out instead of in - except it mounts to a bracket made from a piece of flat stock steel instead of a casting.
