That was your drum. To this day I think about a building somewhere in the U.S. where UPS collects all the STUFF that falls out (i.e. cable drums) and I THINK they auction them off. So somewhere your original cable drum is sitting on somebody's helf or on top of a coffee table for decoration. Of course whoever has it displayed for decoration isn't married.
Speaking of.....my son is having a wedding mid April to a beautiful nurse, I told my wife I'm gonna put my M816 or M246 (one of my Military crane trucks) out in front of the house by the road, extend the crane, and hang a beautiful American flag from it so people can see it as they come to the reception at our home. Remember what I just mentioned about having the winch drum and NOT be married? So much for my flag idea.
