Well, im a UPS driver and i always ship fedex. Ive seen way too many people get frustrated with UPS. UPS has a much higher volume to deal with than fedex and the loads that the trucks go out with can be horrible, especially during december. Fedex has all those different trucks, express, ground, home delivery, custom critical etc, we cram it all into one truck. Which is more efficient, but ups runs as little trucks as possible and keeps the drivers out late versus running more trucks and getting us in earlier. Ive seen first hand for 18 years how UPS functions, treats its customers and employees, and i absolutely will not ship with them !!! I myself am the victim of some very dirty practices, but thats a whole nuther story.
