i make all efforts to have my kids meet and talk to ww2 vets. my 2 boys knew and remember 2 of their great grandfathers, who both served in WW2. it is nice to be able to have my boys at 5 and 7 know how to introduce themselves by name to a veteran and thank them for their service to our country. we have lots of those red poppies on every rearview window of every car and truck we own!!!
