I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler that I use for a spare vehicle and to plow the driveway in the winter the wife uses it as a convertable in the summer. It started a problem that you have to turn the key on 3 times and then to the srart position then it would start. Chrysler dealership told me that the check valve in the electric fuel pump was not holding the fuel up and over $500. for a new pump so I bought a inline fuel check valve and installed it where the fuel line comes out of the fuel tank. Then it blew out the hose by the tank so I put in a high pressure hose then the fuel rail blew out the diaphram. So I took it and had the fuel pressure tested and it was good but when you shut the engine down the pressure would build till it peged there gauge. So I took out the check valve and back to turning the key 3 times then starting and it has worked this way for over 2 tears so far
