(1) have you disconnected the line to the pump and run a flexable line to a gas container above the pump and primed the line ?
(2) have you cracked the fitting at the carburetor and cranked the engine over to see if fuel is pressurized and getting to the carb - I would do this first .
(3) basically break it down into sections - if it will run when you pour gas down the carb then it is a fuel delivery problem ,,,,,,,,,,, waste of time messing with anything else ...
