Expect MPG to drop significantly and normal tire wear to be reduced by 50%. 35mph gives you 100% normal tire wear due to the design of the front axle. I cruze at 37 MPH which maintains good engine speed.
Max road speed of 55 on tag equates to top speed or short bursts, not sustained cruzing speed.
