some dash tags say 55 mph. with fresh engine, good ujoints, tires, diffs and Tcase you can run them 50 to 55. but like clint said they make alot of noise. especially the 6 blade fan on the early trucks. the fan speed is much higher than a car or modern truck. it si for superior cooling at very low speeds. small pulley equals high fan speed. aggressive tires make lots of noise too.
