most of the SPAM has been coming from AOL & Yahoo accounts
the hackers get into the your account and use your address book to spam everybody
it is usually because of an easy hackable password.
immediately contact AOL or Yahoo and they will blacklist & block the hackers ip address
the (hackers) will hopefully get bored with your addresses & eventually move on to the next hacked accounts addressees
