I used the North brand half mask respirator with the replaceable cartridges if I think I will be sanding for a while, with good luck. When I paint, 2 part DP 90 epoxy or Centari color coats I wear a North full face respirator with the replaceable cartridges. I wear glasses all the time, and when wearing the full face, I need to make it a point to put the glasses a little farther onto my nose "on top of the rubber nose cone" so they have distance and then won't fog up. I have developed a little allergy to the DP 90, and if I don't use a full face, my eyes swell up and itch bad. A good respirator is worth the investment, and the cartridges last a while, depending on the severity of the environment.
