I'm sending some mechanical fuel pumps to the Dodge Boys to rebuild.
The pumps on the right are AC 587s. They both came out of trucks with original 230 engines. The arms are compressed upwards by the camshaft lobe from below. The pump on the bottom left is missing the spring and some arm parts. If someone has a spare for parts, let me know.
The pumps on the left are out of trucks with 251 engines. The arms are completely different. The arms appear to be acted on by the camshaft lobe from directly above. Is the camshaft in the 251 placed higher up in the block?
