Last year the copper line to our icemaker developed a small leak where the tubing met the valve. Same kind of problem. Ours was 3/4" oak flooring. After a major argument with young punk insurance adjuster over who should be able to do the work, a phone call to my agent, which resulted in a call back from VP from Farmer's Insurance, young punk came back to me with apology for telling me I was not qualified to perform the repairs myself (40 years in custom home building). I don't think he liked it when I told him I was building houses when he was still in a play pen. Ha!
