Master cylinder bore size question

want opinions about waht would disadvantage or problems might arise if I went from a 1.25 bor master to a 1.50 bore master on my 4 wheel drum D300. In theory would I lose force? would that create more pedal travel? the price is about 3 times more for the correct one. same casting and piston depth, just bigger bore.
