hey guys, anyone who answered my last post sorry, I forgot to check as I rarely get on this forum anymore since I no longer have a power wagon of my own!
I initially told the boss to get it welded or brazed and so
We had a friend of mine who is professional welder attempt to weld the manifold and he couldn't do it it was just too far gone. the pro shop he recommended wont even try it and said if they did braze it they couldn't guarantee it would last past a few drives. this thing had been "repaired" before and whoever did it made a real mess out of it. so, the boss just wants to get a better one, not necessarily a new one but one thats not cracked...... mabe i could post a picture when i get back down to where the truck is.
