Ok, I seem to have the same problem, the felt channel clamps too tight on the divider bar and won't let the window move. It seems to fit into the bracket ok, but its just too tight on the divider bar.
So on that note, it seems if I did Vaughn's idea, it would make it tighter?? Line the bracket with velcro, then install the felt run, it will make the divider bar even tighter.
Wish I didn't like the look of win vents so much, id just do a one piece window!!
