My 55 also has had the steering column welded at some point in the past. I wondered how this was done and hope I don't have to repeat it. But it sure is nice to know that when my wife gives me a hard time about working/playing with the truck, that I can pull out this post and show it to her. "See honey, some women actually like these things." We always joke that my PW is my early midlife crisis vehicle. Her's will be a black convertable Corvette(mid 90's). She says that at least she doesn't have to worry about me cruzing and picking up women! Nathan is a lucky man!
