Why, everytime someone asks advice on buying a truck does someone have to act like they will steal it out from under their nose if they breathe a word of where the truck may reside? As for the value of the truck, it could vary alot depending on how complete the truck is. If you are planning on restoring it, the little things can really add up quick. With a running engine and a winch, some where between $1500 and $3000 would be reasonable. Just beacuse the engine runs does not mean you won't have to do work on it. An engine overhaul can get really expensive. Sheet metal is the other expensive part of fixing one of these trucks up. If it is as you say, I would say around $2500. Maybe even a little more since it is an early one. Besure to check if gauge and things work.
Good luck,
Dan
