Its a 54 civvy PW. I got the new needle glued on. Did an awesome job of copying the original with a piece cut from an aluminum pie pan.
It may be that when the needle goes past the pegs the electromagnet can move it (since it does respond when you put it between the pegs) . Ill try the Radio shack testing method! thankx
