Isn't the 6 holer a lighter flywheel from a 218? If so, it will let the 230 rev up faster, something racers always look for(they go to aluminum).I doubt if it would do any harm, you just won't be able to idle it down to 35 rpms, like Ive done to my 230(just to see how low I can go-oil pressure drops,don't drive it that way)
