My wc-12 had a 2spd t/c when I bought it, but you guys know more about PW's than I do. I did get a book(reprint) with my truck that describes the interchangability of dodge t/c. I suspect that mine came out of one of the six wheel drive wwII dodge trucks as it has an extra drive stub sticking out of the back of the case. It could be a PTO I suppose, but it is pointing backward, instead of forward for a winch or something. I know the GMC 2.5 ton trucks had seperate driveshafts for each rear axle, so I am assuming that the dodge 6x6 was set up the same way, so that is where my thinking come from as to the original configuration of my t/c. I will try to get the name of that book on interchangebility-it doesnt seem logical to have to start cutting driveshafts etc. Just my 2 cents worth.
