I had a 43 carryall that someone before had made this swap- sold it 7 yr ago.As i recall:
extend'floating power' bracket towards front by welding at mount holes in bott. of bracket.
move entire radiator frame forward by torching slots in frame mount bracket, remount fender supports towards rear by drilling new holes.
Extend sheetmetal 'nose' to rear so hood pivot works- radiator cap appears to be in o.e. position.
Overall job appeared very o.e.,used desoto 237(?) block,I didn't know what crank or CID.ran very strong and smooth.
FYI-Desoto motors use S prefix in serial no., something no one on this forum has asked.
Sounds like a fun challenge.
