I have a MOPAR parts book for 1978 to 1979 Dodge trucks. The part number it lists for the left side is 4071 606. The part number for the right side is 4049 317. They are the same for both 318 and 360. My 79 W150 has the damper on the right side. I have parted out several Dodge trucks from 1972 to 1985 and they have all had center dump exhaust manifolds on both sides. I'm not sure if the damper has always been on the right side though. Hope this helps.
